As predicted Thursday was indeed a busy day in the life. However, I was able to accomplish my goals which were to get my poses set up for the runway show on Saturday.
In addition, I was invited to do another runway show on Sunday. So, I also styled another outfit, wrote a description for the outfit, and checked poses.
Two rehearsals, four pose sequences, one styled outfit, and one description later, I finally had a little time out with my partner for a while. All work and no play makes for a dull time after all and that’s not what Second Life is all about!
What does a model do for fun? Lots of things, but last night surfing was just the ticket. Surfing is one of the first activities, right after dancing, that I began in Second Life when I started. I love surfing, especially when it’s with the one I love.
Surfing and Relaxing
The thing of it is, as much work as modeling can be sometimes, I really do enjoy it. I love meeting the people and learning new things and having new experiences. I love it all. The styling, the posing, and the rehearsals. It is relaxing for me in and of itself so I can’t, and won’t, complain. I’m actually happy to have this aspect of Second Life as part of my life.
Today is, however, another busy day. It should be slightly more relaxed than yesterday because I don’t have styling or posing to catch up on. However, I do have three runway rehearsals to get through during the course of the day.
